I will not quit - Developing the Proper Business Mindset.
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER EVER QUIT We are all familiar with this one. However, this is one of the most difficult because when problems come, the mind will find all sorts of excuses to justify quitting when the going gets tough. I will just name 2 examples of people who made it big in their careers. The first is Colonel Sanders: This man was dead broke and way beyond employment age. But he approached restaurants after restaurants telling people to buy the recipe for his fried chicken. Owners after owners rejected his offer until after dozens of rejected offers, he finally sold his recipe and we have the world famous Kentucky Fried Chicken today. The second example is Sylvester Stallone: His script for Rocky was rejected by most of the people he approached. In the end, the Rocky Franchise ran to a total of 6 MOVIES. A feat rarely achieved by many. Stallone eventually became one of the most famous action film stars of all time. Now you might probably be thinking… I am not as great as Colonel Sanders or Sylvester Stallone… but these men were considered dead beats and failures in most society. They probably had fewer opportunities than you and I. Their succeeded because they never quit. It is easy to quit when you do not see results. That is the time you must go on. However, I would like to highlight one very important thing. Although you must never quit, you must also work smart. If you do not work smart, you will continue to dig a big hole using a spoon. However persistent you are will only destroy your business because of inefficiency. Lesson: If you quit, make sure you quit out of strength, and not out weakness.
