Service First - Developing the Proper Business Mindset.
Service First - Developing the Proper Business Mindset.
The customer may not be always right, but make sure he is always first. You can be a manager of a large department, CEO of a company with hundreds of staff, or even chairman of the largest company in the city. But there is one person, just one person that has the power to fire each and everyone in the company right form the chairman all the way down to the janitor: the customer, by choosing to buy from someone else. Any employee in any company will have to kiss up to someone, namely their bosses or their supervisor. You may hate your boss, but once you are on your own, you may think you can leave behind those apple polishing mumbo jumbo… but you will be kissing up to more customers (they all think they are the boss because they choose to buy from you) and PR would be one of your most valuable skills. In today's society, businesses are getting more and more competitive. That means customers are getting fussier. Most of the time, when somebody buys something, they pay for two out of three things: " Price " Quality " Service Unless you are out of marketing options or your advertising budget is really low, price should be the last are that you should compete on. In terms of quality, it is also dependent on the nature of business you are in and costs might vary. So what options do we have left? Service. It makes the customer forget about price and quality and ensures repeat sales over and over again. Business Lesson: Your customer may haggle for the best price or find a competitor with a better quality product, but good, personalized service will keep your customer with you forever.
